Marine stingers inhabit coastal waters typically during the tropical summer (or wet/green/monsoon) season. Visitors should only swim in protected areas and follow the advice of lifeguards.
What is the weather like in the Dry season in tropical Australia?

This season is usually experienced between the months of November and March. Whilst a lot wetter than the dry season, visitors will get to experience the region when it is extremely green and lush, and the waterfalls are spectacular full flow.
