At Cooya Beach (20 minutes north of Port Douglas), a traditional fishing ground for the Kuku Yalanji Bama, the brothers will teach you how to throw a spear and hunt for fish, mud crabs and mussels.
It is a great opportunity to learn about bush tucker and medicine as they share their extensive traditional and local knowledge.
