DAY 1

Arrive in Broome and transfer to Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa.                 

Depart on Narlijia Experiences Broome Life of Guwan tour*.

Visit Broome’s largest ancient shell midden and artefact site overlooking Roebuck Bay and learn about the cultural landscape and pearling history. The tour concludes with pearl meat tasting and live pearl shell harvest.

Return to the hotel and relax by the pool.

This evening, dine at one of Broome’s fabulous restaurants such as Zensai, Little Indian, La Perle or Johnny Sausage.

DAY 2

Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore Broome.

 Depart on a Half-Day Afternoon Tour with Horizontal Falls Adventures.

Enjoy low level flying over the amazing islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago and Cape Leveque before your seaplane lands near the Horizontal Falls. Take a thrilling fast boat ride through the waterfalls, followed by a laid-back island cruise. Return to the luxury houseboat for a freshly prepared meal. Swim in a marine viewing cage protected from sharks and crocodiles.

Enjoy cocktails and dinner back at the resort’s Sunset Bar and Grill.

DAY 3

Check out and transfer to Broome Airport for a scenic flight to Cape Leveque.

Arrive at Cape Leveque and transfer to Kooljaman at Cape Leveque.

Kooljaman at Cape Leveque offers a true wilderness experience. Take a cultural tour with the local Bardi community residents, go mud crabbing, fish trapping, sample bush fruits and gain an insight into bush medicine and the Aboriginal history in the area.

Settle into your Deluxe Safari Tent located high on the hillside.

Spend the afternoon on Bundy’s Bush Tucker tour.

Join Bundy on a guided walk around Kooljaman. Sample the abundance of seasonal fruit and enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you learn about the seasons, bush medicines and local bush tucker.

Return to Kooljaman and enjoy sunset drinks on Western Beach and dinner at Raugi’s Restaurant.

DAY 4

Today, take a Southern Cross at Lullumb Coastal Walk Tour.

Interact with local people and learn about the Bardi Jawi traditional ecological knowledge and how they used to live. Walk through mangroves, salted mudflats, and creeks and learn how to find fresh water, build a shelter and survive in the bush.

As the sun starts to set, head off on a beautiful sunset cruise.

Cruise around the peninsula, then watch the sun set over Leveque Island. Sit back, relax and enjoy some tasty nibbles and a quiet non-alcoholic drink.

DAY 5

Depart Kooljaman and take a scenic flight back to Broome before your flight to Kununurra.

On arrival at Kununurra, transfer to El Questro Homestead.

In the late afternoon, head to The Homestead Verandah for a stunning sunset. Enjoy canapes and pre-dinner drinks followed by dinner under the stars.

DAY 6

Meet your El Questro ranger for a Guided Gorge walk tour.

El Questro Wilderness Park is proud to be home to some of the best-known gorges in the Kimberley. Each walk offers a different style of gorge, from shady and tropical to more open and valley-like. Visit crystal clear waterholes for a refreshing swim before your return.

This afternoon, join a Chamberlain Gorge Cruise.

Enjoy the diverse flora and fauna on this 3km fresh waterhole cruise. Resident Rock Wallabies, Johnston Crocodiles and the always cheeky Archer Fish are familiar inhabitants of the gorge.

Return to the resort for canapés and drinks followed by dinner at a private cliffside location.

DAY 7

Join a Helifishing Adventure with Kimberley HeliSpirit.

Fly to an exclusive location only accessible by helicopter in search of the legendary barramundi. Fish from some incredibly diverse locations such as saline coastal flats, floodplain and barrage systems, billabongs and spectacular gorges.

Return to the resort. Enjoy canapes and pre-dinner drinks followed by dinner.

• Fish for barramundi at some unique locations. 

DAY 8

The morning is free to enjoy the facilities at El Questro before departing.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
