The Aussie Specialist Program has been developed by Tourism Australia to provide a network of educated, knowledgeable agents to whom we could direct consumers interested in travel to Australia. It is an award winning on-line training program for dedicated agents that are interested in increasing their sales to Australia. The network of Aussie Specialists in this region is ever growing. We have over 5,000 agents in the UK, North America, South America, Ireland, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, and now also in New Zealand. The network is constantly growing.

The Aussie Specialist Program is free of charge to any retail agent who wishes to learn more about Australia. To qualify, agents are required to complete 4 modules and a final exam, covering general knowledge of Australia, the main features of each state and territory, itinerary planning and sales and promotion techniques. To ensure our agents maintain a high standard of expertise we ask them to complete a renewal exam each year.

To entice Aussie Specialists to visit Australia, we offer them exclusive deals through the Aussie Specialist TravelClub. This is where you come in!

Aussie Specialist TravelClub offers are available exclusively to qualified, current members of the Aussie Specialist Program. These agents are dedicated to selling Australia, and often have a passion for the destination, which is unrivalled. They take a personal interest in organising their clients’ itineraries, and are invaluable ambassadors for Australia and the experiences on offer to their clients.

We ask you to offer our preferred agents a ‘hot deal’ so that they can gain first hand experience of your product.

Your product offers will be listed on-line on the Aussie Specialist Extranet site. These offers are valid for 12 months from the date of entry. Participation in the TravelClub will not cost you anymore than the offer itself.

Once an Aussie Specialist agent has planned their holiday using the offers in the Aussie Specialist TravelClub they are advised to contact you directly to make reservations. It is strongly suggested that you set up a unique booking reference number for them to quote. Please provide companion rates if applicable.

Our Aussie Specialists will be asked to carry their membership card, which proves their status, and show it when using any of the Travel Club products. Please advise your front line staff to keep an eye out for the card.
